Account Executive

We are not looking for an Account Executive who just wants to follow a playbook. Our ideal candidate is someone who is hungry to help identify what the playbook should be. You must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and committed to fostering strong customer relationships. In this role, you will focus on building a robust pipeline, closing deals, and ensuring a healthy customer base. 

This position offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, and full benefits. The pay range identified with this posting reflects salary plus variable comp. 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Sales Opportunities: Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value sales opportunities via outbound prospecting, networking, and lead nurturing.
  • Exceed Booking Goals: Achieve and surpass bookings goals by effectively selling Faraday's existing and new products to qualified prospective customers.
  • Manage End-to-End Sales Cycle: Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, collaborating with Account Managers on upgrade opportunities.
  • Execute Sales Process: Skillfully refine and execute Faraday’s sales process, incorporating discovery, qualification, solution design, and ROI forecasting.
  • Pipeline Management: Actively manage and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline in accordance with Faraday's business processes.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including C-level executives, to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment, contributing to the collective success of the sales team.

About You:

  • 5+ years of consulting or enterprise sales experience, driving the adoption of emerging technologies with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and securing strategic deals, understanding multifaceted technical requirements, and crafting tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate dynamic stakeholder ecosystems, building consensus and providing innovative solutions to disparate groups.
  • Proven ability to source new opportunities in whatever manner necessary, including but not limited to one on one outreach, through new and established partners, and via executive stakeholders. 
  • Extensive experience negotiating highly complex, customized commercial agreements with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven success in exceeding revenue targets within fast-paced organizations by effectively managing an evolving pipeline and sales process.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently present and build connections across all customer levels, from individual contributors to C-level executives.
  • A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality.
  • A strategic, analytical approach to assessing markets, coupled with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities.
  • Passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems, demonstrating a strong commitment to ensuring the safe development of frontier AI systems.
